Too Much Pressure July 2024

I am just going to be a little short and sweet. I had a long email written about too much physical pressure in our bodies- lending to pelvic floor issues, pain, constipation, leaking. No one wants to read a novel email especially in July. But if that little list makes you go “Hi! That’s me!” LETs chat!
I did think about those little key chains that were at gas stations about 20 years ago, when you squeeze them- it looks like they are pooping. Wasn’t that fun? Our bodies act like that. If we have too much tension/pressure- pressure does have to escape somewhere.
When you lift something up- like a toddler- breathe. When I lift my little guy up, I always go Ah! or hmm (I tend to be a breath holder). But the other thing I do is keep him close to my body- which is a nice little way to get an extra hug in (and a nice way to keep my back from hurting)
In diving- we always say- ALWAYS BREATHE. On land, its a good way to live also.
