Dr. Bridget McDermott- Kane, PT, DPT

Bridget is the owner, sole provider, (part of the) tech team and front desk person at Resilient Root Physical Therapy.

Bridget opened Resilient Root to serve people who do not fit into the traditional health care system and found very quickly that she didn't belong there anymore, either.

She earned her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Wayne State University in 2011. She has specialized over the years in pelvic health, complex chronic pain, and TMJ.

Through her career, Bridget had a reputation for helping the patients who were a bit more complex. She loves learning about people and helping them solve pretty complex problems.

Bridget lives in Pinckney with her husband and two children. She loves hiking, lifting, scuba diving, and riding bikes to go get ice cream.

BRIDGET'S APPROACH

Meet you where you are

Bridget approaches patient care from a depth of understanding how scary and vulnerable it is to suffer from and ask for help with pelvic floor dysfunction. We are often told that our symptoms are common, that they are part of being a mom or a woman. Bridget takes her time to listen to your concerns, your questions, your symptoms and works along side you to help resolve them.
